Example:

Next, click the “Rewrite Titles” option so it’s activated.

Scroll down until you see “Use Categories For Meta keywords” and tick this on to activate this feature as well.

The next step is to ensure that your blog is included within search engines like Google, but also blog based communities such as Technorati.

In order to do this, click on the Privacy tab and click the link that indicates your blog will be visible to everyone, including search engines.

Next, I set up permalinks in settings. Setting your permalinks correctly will help you rank better because they will contain relevant keywords based on the different page content that you create.

Doing this will modify your website URL’s so that they are search engine friendly, featuring your category titles and post / page title with your chosen keywords.

Autoblogging – Make Money Doing Nothing

Think it’s not possible to make money on autopilot? Well, that’s not true and hundreds and thousands are doing it today, including myself. Here is how this process works.

1. Decide what niche you want to build around.
2. Do your keyword research to find the least competitive keywords for your niche.
3. Buy a keyword rich domain name that you discover during the keyword research phase.
4. Decide how you want to monetize your blog and build out the links, banners, etc. for products that you are selling.
5. Use your automated blog tool (or buy one if you don’t already have it) to plug in your targeted keywords to automatically build your blog content on the scheduled basis you define.

That’s it! Once you have followed these steps, your blog will run on autopilot with the automated blog plugin tools.As I have become more familiar with how the WordPress autoblogging tools work, I have been able to develop a process that I can now replicate very easily. I use a combination of free and paid keyword tools to generate a large (2500 if possible) targeted keyword list as my starting point. I then narrow down the keyword list until I come up with maybe 50-60 keywords that I want to target for my niche. The list of targeted keywords are selected by a combination of how competitive they are (the less the better) and the number of daily searches (the more the better).

Once I have generated this targeted list, I use the highest traffic keywords as my WordPress categories because I want to build a lot of content around these high traffic phrases. So by targeting these keywords, I can then build content for this category using content from the other keywords. So the effect is that I have a lot of posts that have the URL of mydomainname.com/CATEGORY/post title.

I then use the lesser traffic keywords and pull content on those phrases. I try to make sure that the lesser traffic keywords fit from a “theme” perspective to the higher traffic keywords that I use as my category names.

I can usually get a new niche site built around automated blog tools within a day or so, easily able to get 3-4 new sites up each week. I spend a lot of time on keyword research or I could get new sites up even quicker. But I really enjoy that part of the process and am always looking for ways to improve my skill around keywords.

Once I go through this process, I am done with the blog and move on to the next one. I typically revisit each site every few weeks just to fine tune the blog, maybe add a few new keywords, etc. But this process works, and you can get started with autoblogging and learn how to make money doing nothing.

Remember the lower this number the easier it is to rank in the search engines. One more very key component is you want to uses keywords that advertisers are willing to pay for advertising. You can use the major search engines for this as well. You do this by doing a search for your keyword phrase and seeing how many sponsored links are on the search page.

Step Three: You are now ready to get started with your new blog and you can do this for free. The free blogging service I like to use is Blogger because it is very easy to use for anyone. Blogger also provides many good features including the ability to post AdSense ads. Once you register for a Blogger account you will need to choose a blog title. At that point you are basically set to start blogging but first you will need to complete step four.

Step Four: This is where you need to go to Google and set-up an AdSense account so you can get a publisher Id#. Please be certain to read all the instructions and especially the Google terms of service.

Upon completion of the above steps you are ready to start blogging and earning Google AdSense revenue. Remember though knowledge is power and the more you learn the better you will be at earning money with AdSense. Autoblogging and SEO Rule – Find Great Keywords Without Guessing

Autoblogging and SEO rule, and here’s why: I lurk on a few forums, and I ran across more than one post stating that after a recent tweak, the exact match returns for certain keywords on the Google keyword tool had dropped off by as much as 50%.

Just think about this: You had bought a domain and ran a PPC campaign based on the exact match phrase for your keyword. You had thought that there were at least 5,000 searches for your keyword with long competition and you had really been hammering hard at this keyword for weeks. You finally get your site in the top five results for the keyword, only to be frustrated that you aren’t getting the traffic you envisioned. You check the search results again, only to find that there are now less than 1000 searches for that keyword.

Man, that would be worse than a kid finding out there really is no Santa Claus.

I’d be some upset if this was my situation. Imagine the huge amounts of money corporations invest in PPC, and now they are learning that the phrases they have been targeting have much less volume than they thought. Lawsuits anyone? Makes me glad that I stay away from PPC!

Fortunately, as an autoblogger, I am exempt from much of the fallout of this discovery. As an autoblogger, I rely far more on sheer volume of keywords (not volume of searches) to bring me the results I am looking for.

Basically, as an autoblogger, I work in reverse to traditional bloggers. After pumping out hundreds of posts with my awesome autoblogging tool that I am beta testing, I wait and see which ones are getting Google love by checking for top URLs in Awstats. When I see the cream rising to the top, I then start ramping up a campaign to bring traffic by using SEO methods such as article submission, blog commenting, book marking and creating forum profiles. Unlike traditional methods, I’m not writing post after post and book marking like crazy before I even know if there is any real interest in a certain keyword phrase.

I don’t know about you, but I really don’t like wasting my time chasing after something that was never there in the first place. And with autoblogging, I don’t have to. Of course, there are additional twists to my method that even further laser-hone how I move forward with a campaign utilizing these winning keywords.

The Importance of Adding Unique Content to Autoblogs

One of the more popular things to do in the blogging and make money online world these days is to set up an autoblog. If you search the keyword autoblog, you will find sprinkled throughout the results, a tutorial here and there about setting up autoblogs. This post is actually a follow up to one of my previous posts which was a tutorial on setting up autoblogs and making money with AdSense.

When I wrote the article, I was focusing mainly on the technical aspect of setting up the autoblog so as to provide a guide for bloggers to set up these types of blogs as a means of supplemental content.

In this post, I am highlighting the importance of adding unique content to autoblogs. Why is this important?

Simple. It is the only way your blog will ever rank in the search engines, such as Google. Let me explain why.

It is the job of all search engines to deliver the most relevant content to it’s customers (i.e. you and me). For a search engine to be able to do this, it must constantly spider any and all web pages that it is aware of and index them as quickly as possible. Whenever it finds and catalogs unique content, be it from the original source initially, or from a link path, it will serve that content (the content from the ultimate original source) first.

What does this mean?

It means that if a person sets up an autoblog scraping an RSS feed from another blog, news site or whatever source, the domain scraping the content will get zero credit for it and rightly so. The scraper did not write the content, it only scraped and served it. Why would a search engine serve an autoblog to it’s customers when it can serve the original unique version to them? Clearly, it wouldn’t and shouldn’t.

Many webmasters think that an autoblog is something that one can set and forget. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. If it did work that way, we would all just be setting up autoblogs everyday and monetizing them.

As it stands, autoblogging can, however, serve a purpose. That purpose is as a supplement, a supplement to your existing unique content which you must add occasionally.

What does unique content accomplish?

Unique content establishes your blog or website as an origin of information. Once you are identified as an origin of information, your site will be spidered on a regular basis so as to check for fresh content, perspective and/or information. Remember, search engines pride themselves on having the most up-to-date, most relevant query data available. The faster they index your unique content the better. On the average, this blog is spidered within 60 seconds of posting unique content and pinging Google. If all they (search engines) ever see when they come to your site is regurgitated, scraped content, then they will never serve it to their customers and you will never appear in the search results. Additionally, for this reason, you will not make a dime.

By adding unique content, you will give the search engines a reason to send people to your site. Once visitors arrive, if they find something useful, they may bookmark your site and return on a regular basis. Ideally, they would add your RSS feed to their reader and visit very regularly.

If your blog or website is to become a trusted source of information for your regular visitors, autoblogging, in addition to unique content, can be a welcome addition. Adding links to syndicated posts with small excerpts (that are related to your niche and that provide useful related information) will benefit your readers. Remember, it is all about adding quality to your site.

So, in review, unique content must be added to autoblogs. That is the only way search engines will serve them. The purpose of autoblogging is to give the traffic you do drive to your site and that is sent to your site via search engines more informational options.
